The LT FAD “THINK “Awareness Program is a one-hour kid-friendly seminar designed for children 8 to 12 years of age. It is our belief that children between these ages are influenced by the things they hear and see, both negative and positive, because children are very impressionable.  Unfortunately, our children have been more exposed to law enforcement through the lens of negative results. The Awareness Program encourages children to think about the things they do when encountering law enforcement officers. The program provides children with the much-needed survival skills required to have successful interactions. It also gives them knowledge to grow and if used correctly allows them to develop into positive and productive adults within our communities. 

Thinking is very critical in our everyday lives and it can also determine the path of our future. LT FAD believes the earlier we can encourage kids to ‘THINK’ on their own, the better their chances to successfully navigate through difficult situations and come home

safely each day.
